This wine is made of selected best Sangiovese grapes grown on ancient abbey greatvineyards, which still exists since Etruscan times. Antinori family to in 1987. year with 325 ha of land next to it. Owner Piero Antinori has done a tremendous job in improvingthe quality of Tuscan wines, and has achieved the highest results, as evidenced Badia Passignano а wine.
This wine has two years of maturation, of which 14 months the wine is matured in oak casks, then bottled for another year, until the sale.
Wine has an intense ruby color, bouquet with a wide range of fruit, bright blueberry and liquorice notes. Excellent wine balanced with good acidity levels, which elegantly highlights the fruit smell.
